Fiery Dragons Ltd is a theatre production company that co-produces and invests in a variety of plays and musicals presented in the West End, on Broadway, on tour in the UK and internationally.
The company was co-founded by Edward Snape in 2011 and has a high-profile board of ‘theatre dragons’ comprising Luke Johnson (Chair), Kash Bennett, Eleanor Lloyd, Rutger Beelaerts and Edward Snape. Their first co-production was The Ladykillers, a new West End stage adaptation of the Ealing Comedy Classic and most recently Fiery Dragons has been billed on productions in including the UK tours of War Horse, Come From Away and Murder On The Orient Express, and the West End transfers of the National Theatre’s The Lehman Trilogy, Dear England, and The Motive And The Cue.
Recent productions supported include Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake at Sadler’s Wells and on UK Tour, King Lear starring Kenneth Branagh in the West End, large-scale musicals including Pretty Woman, Kinky Boots and Here You Come Again on UK Tours, and plays including Barcelona with Lily Collins, A Streetcar Named Desire with Paul Mescal and Pasty Ferran, Macbeth with David Tennant and Cush Jumbo, Oedipus with Mark Strong and Lesley Manville, and Juno and The Paycock with Mark Rylance – all in the West End.
Other past investments have included Agatha Christie’s Witness For The Prosecution at County Hall, various Matthew Bourne projects, The 39 Steps on tour and in the West End, long-running West End musicals including Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, Cabaret and Mrs Doubtfire, and the hugely successful children’s franchise Peppa Pig Live.
